On your mobile phone, dial *919*0#. Next on the screen states “welcome to uba magic banking” and select 1 to sign up for uba magic banking.
You’ll be presented with two options and they are;
- Account with pin
- Prepaid with pin
If you have a prepaid account then select the second option if not, select the first option which is account with pin.
You’ll be asked to type in your ten digit uba account number, simply do that. And this is followed by typing the last four digit on your uba naira debit card (atm card).
Skip the referral ID by typing 1. Next is to type in your preferred ussd code four digit pin.
Kindly type in a four digit pin numbers of your choice and that will be your ussd code pin for any transaction.
Having registered your account for the uba ussd code, you can finally transfer money using the *919# code.
How to transfer money from uba to other bank?
To send money from uba to other bank, simply dial *919*4# or *919*4*account number*amount#.
For Example: You want to transfer N50,000 to Ibikun zenith bank account. All you have to do is to dial *919*0123456789*50000#.
After that you’ve to type in the pin you created for the ussd transaction and tap on the send button.
You’ll see a message that you’ve successfully sent N50,000 to Ibikun zenith bank account and you can as well save it as a beneficiary.
The maximum amount of money you can send to someone using the *919# ussd code is one hundred thousand naira using your naira debit card and pin number.
2. How to transfer money from uba using Internet Banking
Internet banking is one of the secured form of having your banking service 24/7 available. Because it is secured and trusted, a bank customer can transfer up to five million naira through the internet banking.
Using internet banking to transfer money from uba to other bank or another uba account requires you to first register for uba internet banking.
Right nor you don’t have to go to the bank to do so, you can do that inside your house using your android phone or ios smartphone.

After downloading and installing the mobile app on your smartphone, open the application to get started by registering your account.
Click on the sign up button by typing in your login details, you’ll be given up to four options to select from. They include;
- Naira debit card
- Prepaid card
- *919# pin
- Using a secure pass
However, i recommend that you use your naira debit card to register on the uba mobile app or maybe *919# ussd code pin if you have one.
You’re required to type in your account number, followed by first six digit of your atm card and also last four digit of your atm card. Next is your atm pin number and tap on validate.
After validating your information, you’ll be required to type in your mobile app pin and you’re good to go.
To transfer money from uba to other banks or another uba account, tap on the menu and click on transfer. From there follow up using the onscreen instruction to send money from your uba account.
United bank for Africa mobile app give you the opportunity to send up to three million naira (3,000,000) per day.
4. Using the automated teller machine
The fourth option on how to transfer money from uba is through automated teller machine (atm).
This is one of the old methods of sending money to another bank account, though it is limited to one hundred and fifty thousand naira per day.
To use the atm, simply insert your card, followed by typing in your pin number.

This is the last option on how to transfer money from uba, requires that you go to the bank to send money.
